At Acme Sales & Books, your satisfaction is our priority. We sell quality used and occasion books and stand behind every order we ship. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. Please read this policy carefully to understand your options.

Return Window
We accept returns within 30 days of the date your order was delivered. To be eligible for a return, you must contact us within this 30-day period. Requests made after 30 days from the delivery date will not be accepted.

Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a return, the item must be in the same condition as when you received it. It must not have been further damaged, written in, or altered after delivery. The item must also be accompanied by proof of purchase, such as your order confirmation email or order number.
Since we specialize in used and occasion books, the condition described at the time of sale is the expected condition of the item. Returns are accepted if the item you received does not match the condition described in the listing, if the wrong item was sent, or if the book arrived with shipping damage that was not present at the time of dispatch.

Non-Returnable Items
Items that have been further damaged after delivery, items without proof of purchase, and items returned after the 30-day window are not eligible for a return or refund. We also cannot accept returns on items that were accurately described and received in the stated condition.

How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please contact us by email at info.acmesalesbooks@gmail.com or by phone at +1 (912) 352-2203. In your message, please include your order number, the title of the book you wish to return, and the reason for the return. We will respond within 2 business days with instructions on how to send the item back.
Please do not send your item back before receiving confirmation and return instructions from us. Items returned without prior authorization may not be processed.

Return Shipping
If the return is the result of our error, such as receiving the wrong item or an item in a condition different from what was described, we will cover the cost of return shipping. In all other cases, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit on the way back to us.

Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you by email of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Refunds cover the purchase price of the item. Original shipping costs, if any were charged, are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund within 10 business days of our approval notification, please first check with your bank or credit card company, as processing times can vary. If you have done so and still have not received your refund, please contact us at info.acmesalesbooks@gmail.com and we will investigate the matter promptly.

Exchanges
Because we sell used and occasion books, each item in our inventory is unique. We are generally unable to offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, we recommend initiating a return for the original purchase and placing a new order for the item you prefer.

Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged due to shipping or if you receive an item that does not match your order, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. Send us your order number and a brief description of the issue. We will work quickly to resolve the situation, whether through a replacement, a store credit, or a full refund.
